I didn't even realize this. My virus checker didn't warn me either. I am not too worries though. I use a unique password on this site and I don't have private info connected to anything. It is a public forum so there is nothing to seal that they can not find on the board posts. Still, extra security never hurt.
I'm getting:
www.goingyourownway.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the following names: host.goingyourownway.com, www.host.goingyourownway.com Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN
Huh? The site uses HTTP, not HTTPS (HTTP over SSL), so there are no certificates. It is supposed to be insecure. It works fine for me in Firefox 65.0, the connection is marked as insecure, but there are no errors at all.
Edit: Did you follow an https:// link somehow?
Edit 2: Mr Wombat is right. If you switch to HTTPS, you get a certificate that is issued to a different domain name. And it will expire in March 2019.

If I had the brain of a nerd, I would have retired by now. Alik, you are sober again; drink something.![]()
My point is that the connection & subsequent traffic is insecure. Given those who wish to dox us and the potentially sensitive nature of some of our opinions I would have thought HTTPS would be used.
The worst part is that our passwords are sent in the open.
Looking into it.
