Gillette, the best a toxic man like you can get....

Yea... This is making waves, but not the kind P&G was hoping for. Folk are chiming in, and not just MGTOW. Undead Chronic's response was as expected, a royal roast. Jeremy from TheQuartering (who usually reports about gaming trends) facepalmed on this. And even Tim Poole - a center-left reporter - recognized just how stupid it is for Gillette to basically attack their own customer base. Men, who're sick and tired of being pushed around.

They ask for a dose of #GetWokeGoBroke - us men are happy to deliver.
Shame is a womans primary weapon. Watch for it, and call it out wherever you see it. Few women know how to handle a man immune to shame.

Re: Gillette, the best a toxic man like you can get....

I used to buy disposable razors and all those changeable blade things Mach whatever then I went to a barber and he did my beard using an Andis.
Then I went and bought one, and never looked back. The professional trimmer cuts extremely close every time and it never fails. It's pretty durable. And for it to be able to cut so close that you aren't able to feel the hair on your skin makes it well worth the investment and you can use it to give yourself a mark if you're good enough.
It's well worth the investment. I advise everyone to get one.
So who cares what Gillette does. Throw them in the toilet with all the other sellouts like Heineken.
If you believe everything you hear is a lie, you have a 100% lie detection rate.
The opposite holds true but I would rather be surprised by the truth than a lie.

Re: Gillette, the best a toxic man like you can get....

my response: technically, the actions you take today will not be seen by the men of tomorrow... because the majority of the men of tomorrow are being raised by single mothers who have long since ejected the men of today from the lives of their sons. So as a man today, you can take all the correct actions you want, but the man of tomorrow is only going to see them if you happen to take them on the 1 or 2 weekends a month that you are allowed to visit.

The men of tomorrow do not become men on their own. Men learn to be men by example from other older men. Not from their mothers, not from some bullshit media portrayal of strong independent women, and certainly not from the educational system. All that wailing about 'Where have all the good men gone?' keeps getting louder and louder, but those good men don't seem to be stepping forward to announce themselves. Once upon a time, there were mechanisms in place that mass produced men in such enormous quantities that there was one for every woman who wanted one. Those men were produced by fathers and grandfathers, coaches, mentors and Boy Scout leaders. They were produced in trade schools and apprenticeship programs, in sports gyms, in military training academies, in labor unions on construction sites and on farms, ranches, factories, oil fields and mines. Enormous numbers of older men produced (by example) enormous numbers of men of the next generation.

    AKA, the patriarchy...

I haven't shaved in 20 years, but if I did I wouldn't be using Gillette. I wonder if the great idea for this ad came from the parent company, or if Gillette itself has been overrun by Feminazis.

They infiltrate men's hobbies and markets to push their gynocentric agenda. "But why don't you go your own way".

The men that are aware do go their own way. But we speak on behalf of those men that are bombarded by propaganda like this and are looking for real answers.

All of this is backfiring on companies who are desperate to try and sell their products but also appear socially aware. As usual they are behind the times and the band wagon they are jumping on has already lost a wheel and the others are looking wonky. Not to mention the horse pulling it all is near dead and sick of being flogged.

Market groups are dominated by women and consumerism is driven by women so the assumption is that men will follow with what women decree from the top of their pyramids of worship. And yet most men that are not even mgtow/redpill, etc do not buy in. They are trying to push toxic masculinity concept but it isn't sinking in. But meanwhile the concept of feminazi is stuck in social and cultural lexicon because feminists are the ones bullying the most with their world view.

The company I work for goes over the top with all of this SJW nonsense. Apparently there might be a LGBTIQ logo on our new lanyards. I really hope not but whatever, I can see that backfiring with their own staff and the consumers.

I think the reason it isn't sinking in is because it is so obvious now. They aren't even creative in their propaganda anymore. A decade or more ago you might have had an ad promoting knitting for men for example as a way of trying to change attitudes. That would have been subtle (although still dumbass). Now you just have them standing up and saying "Toxic Masculinity!"

Same with TV shows, the characters just deliver political speeches. Super girl is a great example and looking at wikipedia I can see the ratings keep dropping.

All these companies etc are all out of touch because they keep listening to small selected groups. So be it. They will find out in the end when sales plummet.

Her: Here honey, I bought you a new razor
Him: I thought you were broke
Her: I just grabbed some cash from your jeans last night
    Him: Oh yeah
Her: Here you go, give it a try!
Him: I told you I wasn't using that brand, we talked about that commercial and how offensive I found it for an hour last night
Her: That was THIS brand? But I just saw the best commercial for it, it's actually short movie one YouTube!
Him: You seriously heard nothing I said last night did you...

What's strange in all this is that women today tend to prefer men with facial hair. First place: full beard. Second place: 10 days' growth. Third place: a day or two growth. Last place: clean-shaven.

I'm clean-shaven. Being hated for my appearance is an effective perimeter fence.

I use those bagged Bic disposables. They're everywhere. Brand-name replacement blades aren't worth the cost. Last time I walked past a set of 5 Gillette Sensor Excel double-edge replacement blades in the supermarket, they wanted something like seventeen bucks. That's not a typo. Bic Comfort 3 disposables: bag of eight for five bucks, and they last longer.

And how unmasculine those beards look on the hipsters who wear them. Look in their eyes and they usually look beaten and tired. They don't look like the type of rugged lumberjack beard of yesterday.

I've read that a lot of the men who grow them are trying to emphasize their masculinity. I guess, but what about hairy chests or is that still out?

I use the more expensive shavers but I have found in the long run they are cheaper. I use the same blade over and over for a month or more without a problem. I would be going through the dispoables at the rate of one per shave. So cost wise it is cheaper.

I use electric shavers, but Gilette certainly won't get any of my money anymore. (Still possible I maybe would've bought some Gilette stuff as a present or whatever)

I ditched the multi-blade dog & pony show more than 10 years ago. Went back to an old-school DE safety razor; made in Germany with Japanese blades - nary a Gillette in sight.
    A gun-toting, weed-smoking, gray-bearded redneck with a Masters - old and dangerous.

Re: Gillette, the best a toxic man like you can get....

As usual, spin this 180 degrees and consider the reaction.

Imagine a L'Oreal shampoo commercial following the same agenda:

A massively obese woman sat on her sofa - watching daytime TV whilst eating a full box of doughnuts. Around her are her 5 screaming kids, all to different fathers, destroying the already filthy house in an attempt to get just a moment of attention from Mummy. She leaves the dog in charge of the kids for a a few hours whilst she waddles to the store to buy food, alcohol, cigarettes and cheap clothes just for herself. The ex's child support payments barely cover this...so she is 'forced' to steal a few of these items. On the way home, the money she has 'saved' on the stolen items covers the cost of yet another tattoo...a small 'Angel' just above her nipple. Time is ticking as the kids haven't had any food all day and husband number 4 will be home soon. She manages it...by not calling in at her next door neighbours house to give him his usual afternoon blowjob.

The door swings open and hubby is home. Knackered from his 14 hour shift, she barks at him "Where have you been? Feed the kids you lazy bastard...they're starving! I'm off for a shower".

Final shot is of her trying to wedge her lard ass into a shower cubicle to wash her dirty hair....with the tag line - 'L'Oreal.....because you're NOT worth it...you're a total cunt'.

Re: Gillette, the best a toxic man like you can get....

I'm considering posting my unused Gilette products to Gilette corporate with a note explaining why. (not the used blades - no point being sued for posting potentially biohazardous materials).

    -- EDIT --

Jesus. I navigated to https://anz.pg.com/ (ANZ means "Australia and New Zealand") and guess what assaulted my eyes: "A gender-equal world is a better world for all".

1 - What does "equal" mean? (surely they don't mean no maternity leave for women, or no presumption of maternal custody)
2 - Isn't Australia already equal, in the sense that feminists (claim to) want quality? Isn't it - for instance - illegal to pay women less for the same work?
3 - Is this claim actually true? If men do indeed posses privilege, why ought we surrender it? How would we be better off?

Anyway. No obvious address. Best I could get (heh!) was

1 Innovation Rd, Macquarie Park NSW 2113

I may actually do it. Tossing up whether to go anonymous … probably the best idea, really.

    -- EDIT 2 --

Be aware that Oral B and Braun are also P&G brands.

I grow my beard because I finally can. When I was a (late) teenager, I saw classmates growing goatees and ring beards (if that's the proper word for it), but me? Nothing. When I was 18, my brother was 15 and he had a 15-year old friend with a big beard. I have to admit that I was jealous, because beards are manly as fuck. I got my goatee when I was 23 or 24, but my cheeks were still as soft as a baby's bottom. When I got 30/31, I finally got hair on my cheeks, and these days I have a full beard. And it's good.

I used to shave with an electric razor, but that shit HURT when I waited too long. I think we all remember having a tear in our eyes whenever your electric razor pulled a hair out, right? Luckily, my old man gave me his clippers and told me to "shave" with it. I hadn't shaved in 2 weeks (my beard doesn't grow fast), so I was a little scared of the sensation, but it felt like a breeze. It would give me a 3-day stubble (which usually takes me two weeks to get) and never looked back. These days I just let it all grow and only use clippers for my throat, and scissors to cut the hairs of my moustache a bit shorter.

I also wish I had a hairy chest, but alas. A small dot of hair in the middle and some hairs around the nipps. It also doesn't work that I'm a ginger fuck, so my body hair isn't really obvious until I step under the shower.

PS: even as a younger boy, I hoped I would get that gray stubble after shaving, but nope to that again.
