    Christian Thread

    Firstly;

    Has anyone read R A Salvatore's novels about a Dark Elf named Drizzt Do'Urden? If you haven't, I would recommend it. Drizzt is quite like a High Fantasy Mgtow based on my reading. A rogue elf running away from a female dominated, highly religious society and making his own way through a world of discrimination and prejudice against his skin. The character is interesting as well, deadly with his own set of codes and morals which he adheres to, regardless of the circumstance. Looking back, Drizzt Do'urden may be interesting for any MGTOW interested in such genres.

    Secondly;

    To the moderators. I wish to start a thread to answer questions and discuss issues regarding Christianity and MGTOW if anyone has them. Believers and non alike. The thread would be quite Christ-centric, as I would be quoting the bible and other Christian-based sources in the process. However, such questions will only be relegated to this specific thread, and any non-Christian queries and discussions will be referred accordingly. Additionally, I would request that any Christian related questions be referred to this thread and that any Christian MGTOWs would be willing to help contribute to any discussion or answers to given queries.

    I humbly ask that the moderators would consider my request and reply in the soonest.

    Thank you and sincerest regards.

    Chbedok, you're welcome to start a Christian thread. I can't guarantee that it will go as you envision, but let's see how it goes.

    Re: Christian Thread

    Some random notes:

    -------------

    The message of the New Testament is "drop what you are doing, hit the road and spread the gospel - Jesus is coming any day now(*), and we have limited time". Which is why Paul advised to not bother marrying. It's just not worth it, time-wise.

    (* - you don't find anywhere in the writings of Paul any notion that Jesus has already been. He never quotes Jesus, never cites him as an authority; never mentions Nazareth, Calvary, the trial before Pilate, the stone in front of the tomb, the two angels (or was it just one?); never refers to any of Jesus' miracles aside from him being resurrected. He even states that Jesus was crucified in the heavenlies by demon spirits, rather than in Jerusalem by romans. It's almost like Paul was completely unaware not just of the gospels, but of any of the events in them. All of his writing is about a Jesus who is coming soon.)

    -------------

    Church is the world in microcosm. All the hot women ruthlessly pursue a tiny number of alpha males. The one that wins the prize (pastor's wife) gets to boss all the other women around. The rest of the hot women get the lesser alphas, and then the losers have to marry a provider beta. Not that that keeps 'em from fucking: just ask any pastor how often he gets the eye from one of the ladies.

    -------------

    Divorce in the church is slightly higher than divorce in the world. Makes sense, because in church people are more inclined to gate married in the first place.

    Jesus states that divorced women are not to remarry. Ok, ok - God does permit divorce because sometimes there's genuine reason. But no take-backsies, no serial divorce and remarriage. A woman gets one and only one shot. Anyone that marries a divorced woman commits adultery with her. It's a system with a lot to commend it, frankly.

    From this it follows that any church that does weddings for divorced women is a false church; and that nice couple Anne and Bill are living in unrepentant adultery and will burn in hell for eternity.

    Re: Christian Thread

    Paul never actually met Jesus. He was Jewish and might have been in the crowd calling "Crucify him". Later on after a revelation it is Paul who begins to create the Jesus mythology that became the cornerstone for Christianity. Paul and Jesus are Greek versions of Saul and Yeshua. If you showed up in Judea in 29 or 30 AD and were looking for Jesus and Paul you'd get a big "say what?".

    To me MGTOW requires a great deal of individualism and iconoclasm. Linking Christianity or any of the major religions to MGTOW does make rational sense. Christians are always trying to insert their religion into the crevices of other events that have nothing to do with religion at all. Other religions often do the same thing. Conform, conform...

    If that's what MGTOW is, then I misunderstood its intent.

    Yes, when it comes to thoeretical discussions, let's trust Hollywood actors!

    Hey, Brad Pitt says the Earth is flat!
    Isaiah 4:1 (KJV)
    And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

    A single male who went to jail
    Stuck his willy in a fast filly
    She regrets
    And now his pets
    Are the rats in his cell
    But she's doing well!
