He's off to one heck of a start, with Kolinahr's "Are Seasoned MGTOW Bored With The Red Pill?"

It's an important question, worthy of debate, and even more worthy of inner examination by "seasoned" MGTOW. And in posing the question, he points out a problem - no, an "unforeseen consequence," as Bastiat would put it: There are people who are bringing in their political and/or philosophical ideas, their world-views, and trying to package them into MGTOW. This isn't surprising, but ... consider someone of authority in the Manosphere, insisting that MGTOW should include men's-rights activism.

    (Yeah. Him.)

I think this website is going to be worth watching. Thanks, Jagr, for pointing it out.

I am always looking to grow. So I had hopes that maybe Barbosa had that next step or whatever for MGTOWs. But instead I was disappointed. His article left me cold. Almost as if saying, "if you don't interject my libertarian views into being a MGTOW, you are not evolved like I am."

I tend to be left wing but see the party I used to care about throwing men, particularly ones of European descent, under the bus way too often. The way CNN covers Fergonson if you read between the lines is one example. So is Joseph Biden in his senate days in the 1990s passing that draconian man hating law called VAWA. I lost two months of my life on false DV charges. Other men lost their house because of false DV charges literally because a soon to be ex wife played dirty pool before they knew what hit them. Sorry I digress. Anyway...

I am glad to have right wingers that aren't just trad cons trying to get men back for the plantation attacking feminism on line. Some great sites out there.

The thing I ALWAYS liked about MGTOW in general is how they basically say, "we are not gonna be sitting at the table negotiating with feminists and MRA types. That INSTEAD...our chair at that table is vacated with a sign that says "refuse to debate or negotiate since we have gone our own way" because we are not negotiating with terrorists. Instead we are taking our marbles home and not playing this politically correct game any longer."

Anyway, somehow his article almost came off as mild shaming. I just do not see anything that makes it a good version of MGTOW. He complained abou the skipping record aspect of some MGTOW. But he offered nothing new at all. Just a version I suppose of how HE thinks MGTOW should be.

Look, I only read it once and am maybe being too critical here. Maybe I'll read it a second time and come to a different conclusion. But for now this is my first impression.

I read it the complete opposite way- when he cited Libertarianism and anarcho-individualism, he was using those as examples of how people bring their worldviews, unnecessarily, into MGTOW.

I disagree with his section on World. I don't believe the idea of MGTOW encourages or necessitates withdrawing from society. It is too prescriptive. My general sense is that what unites us are the observations of women and society we made; this represents the off-ramp from our social obligation to women. Thereafter, if men want to be pick up artists, MRAs, ghosts, etc. that is up to them. I will add that many MRAs and PUAs do not have the eye-opening experiences we have, or they do, but they chose to ignore them in favor of political action or chasing women. MGTOWs gain full clarity with respect to female intentions and behavior. But their route is their own, and ghosting is only one option of how to use this awareness.

In all, I found Bar-Bar's writing compelling and thought-provoking.

I think he nailed it in the first three paragraphs of the addiction to novelty section.

Once you have the basics down that's all you need. MGTOW concepts are as important as basic health and finance care are to men.

The basic MGTOW concepts alone are extremely powerful. Seems many people can't accept that. They always need something new.

No need to redesign a horseshoe or an anvil. They have worked just fine for centuries. MGTOW basic's are all you need. Grow from there and thrive.

    to add...

MTGOW the concept is like a chair in a waiting room; comfortable enough to sit in for a while, but not so cushioned that all you want to do is just sink into it. It is just a warm, comfortable rest stop on your appointment with the rest of your life, defined by you.

Go easy on the free coffee, too.
