    Alita, Battle Angel

Most of us have heard about the controversy over the new movie Captain Marvel.

But how do we interpret Alita, Battle Angel?

    A) Reinforces the trope of the beta boy orbiter of uber woman?

    B) Normalizes man/sex doll relationships?
What makes you happy? What brings you joy? What lifts your spirit? What tickles your fancy? What complements your mood? What catches your eye? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=durbQ7nVfQ8

    C) Adds to the delusion that a skinny woman in a pvc suit is somehow "badass".

    - Where have all the good men gone? Away. Far far away... from you.
    - NAWALT? Maybe, but EWALT means Russian Roulette is a much safer bet...

I refuse to watch this trash. You can tell what it will be like just by the title and picture on the front. There will be some strong and empowered "badass" woman flashing her CGI-enhanced ass and tits all over the screen while she beats the hell out of a bunch of evil men. The men will always be shown in an unfavorable light, and all the women will all be glorified. If there are any "good" men in the movie, they will be weak, beta, and completely pussified, and they still won't get the girl, or even her respect. The underlying message in all these movies is that women are better than men in every way, and no matter what you do as a man you are toxic waste and beneath women. But if you're a good little cuck, they might give you a little bit of attention and validation.

No thanks. I'm not going to pay to be emasculated and shown how terrible my toxic masculinity is, just so I can see some slut flashing her bits at me on screen. I'm sick of that shit, and I am sick of all these women everywhere trying to shove their goddamn shitty vaginas in our face. I'll stick to watching old action movies and westerns.

Alita: They took what fems believe is a boring over used stereotype plot, namely, a strong male lead fights & defeats the bad guy, & as a reward bags a beautiful chic in the end.
Then they did this in reverse with a boring, undeserving male, Hugo, who's character seems boring & uninteresting. It doesn't work.

(I read reviews, & capsulated the gist of the movie. If you want to call me a rip-off, I'll agree with you, so that you don't have to say it.)

SLO, you're correct on points A and B.

I've seen the anime version of this a number of years ago.... but it didnt really appeal to me... just like "IRIA"
"I live in freedom, under my own flag." - Captain Harlock

"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." - Arthur C Clarke

"Who's the more foolish? The Fool? Or the Fool who follows him?" - Obi-wan "Ben" Kenobi

"In servitutem redigi non recuso" - Latin (translates to "I refuse to be dominated.")

    Alita = Unicorn
Captain Marvel = Savior complex twist, still a unicorn

Despite Captain Marvel screwing things up she is still portrayed as the hero of the story. Go figure.

Streamed it, Capt Mar vel, and was not impressed, will not waste my cash on it, more man bad women oppressed crap, weak flick IMO.

Alita was a bit better at least, same feminist crap though tough women weak/bad men troupe, they need to get off this stupid ass bandwagon and try and make a good movie without ripping off a prior one or trying to extend the feminist ideology

my grandfather told me at a very young age "boy, there is only one thing a woman wants from a man...... it's 6 inches long and has a head on it..... and its a dollar bill"

    Re: Alita, Battle Angel

Alita at least is not an obvious political propaganda movie.
That I know off, it is said to be remarkably close to the original manga, and THAT is rare for Hollywood.

It has gynocentric ideals? Sure, but what doesn't in this gynocentric society?

Alita is WAY BETTER than the feminist Cap. Marvel. I did not and will not see that movie.

How do I know its feminist crap? Because they said it themselves and even object to white MEN going to see it.

If I go to see a movie, I will use my money to support people that make movies I can see, and not political propaganda against my own gender.
