    New thread: Bucketeer Intro

Good morning all. I'm new to MGTOW have been learing the basics on YouTube. I'm 63, no deep regrets, but I wish I had know about MGTOW 25 years ago. Tom.

OK, I have 2 grown daughters, I'm retired, I haven't had a date in the past 1 & 1/2 years. I've come to the conclusion that during this time, I have reevaluated the benefits of having a wife or a girlfriend. I was concerned that I was becoming a hermit, so I've involved myself with 3 specific weekly meetings (one is church, the other 2 are Celebrate Recovery). During this time, I found that I have started to treat women differently - I no longer look at them with a sexual interest. I don't avoid them, I just treat them as if I was an asexual.

I actually think that I interact better with women now, since I'm not "distracted" by them. I not a woman hater by any means.

I have also noticed that I am saving considerably more money since I am no longer dating. I also gained an appreciation for time, and the benefits of not chasing woman on dating sites, which is a pretty dismal scene.

I think I discovered MGTOW from YouTube from watching one of Sandman's video's. His video sparked an interest in MGTOW, so I've watched perhaps 50-75 more of his shows. I have also learned about other MGTOW content producers on his channel. I've listened to a bit of Tom Leykis, but now I primarily watch guys like Arron Clancey, Coach Greg Adams, Terrence Popp, and a few others.

My initial discovery about MGTOW was about 5 months ago. During this time, my opinions and feelings about MGTOW have evolved. I'm not totally red-pilled, and I am open to the idea of a relationship with a woman, but that desire no longer consumes my thinking.

I now look at MGTOW has not just a lifestyle or mindset. I think of it as a path towards personal and continuous self-improvement and interpersonal growth, with a goal of becoming a better man every day.

I appreciate you responding to my recent PM to do an Intro. You indicate that you are not totally red-pilled and are open to a relationship with a woman. Decidedly, you are what we call purple-pilled. Our website excludes those who fall in that category. We are strictly red pill only and must hold to that.

I will now close your account. Thank you for responding. You can still view the site as a non-member. Good luck to you.
