Thread: A safe place to land after the other place had a meltdown

Greetings, men! I, too, came from that "other" site. It is so welcoming to see so many of the old guys here. I was "there" for 3 1/2 years and I hope to be here for many more years than that. I'm 49, been married 5 years, got divorce raped, and just want as little to do with society as possible.

I hope to drop many red pills, for I have many. I enjoy collecting as many red pills as I can and then share them with the new guys as they arrive.

I don't know much else I can tell. I'm very glad to be here amongst friends. I hope I can be a worthy member here.

Grilling and smoking meats such as brisket, ribs, steak, lobster, roast...you name it. I'm a guy, so I don't eat bitch foods like soybean salads or omelettes with egg whites and organic spinach. I cook inside too, but prefer a cold beer while I'm watching the hickory smoke puff out my grill. I also did portrait photography on the side back when cameras used film.

I love to cook too. My smoker took a crap, well the legs rotted off....

I don't have it anymore, and really miss it.

I only used hardwood charcoal made locally.
For smoking I used hickory from around the house and also used mesquite chunks as well.

My favorite was the 15 lb. piece of boneless ribeye. It was the best prime rib ever.
To this day it was the best steak I had. No restaurant has come close to it.

I have pulled lake trout out of Lake Michigan and smoked them on cedar planks. Those turned out excellent.
Another favorite is the last 1/2 hour grab the cast iron skillet, load it with veggies from the garden, add salt & olive oil, and let that marinate over the coals.

And yes, gotta have a cold one with all the smoke puffing out of the chimney!

Well, hello! A late hello from me! It is not always obvious to our new members that we have a sticky called How To Intro that gives pointers on the type of info we want to see in your Intro. From that sticky:

Can you use those pointers to expand on your Intro, please? For instance:

1. Can you tell us how your relationships/interactions with women were before you got married at age 44?

2. Can you provide enough detail beyond summarizing that you were divorce raped? I'd also be curious how you got to the point where you want as little to do with society as possible, and how you got to that point.

3. I think you answered this one already about hobbies. You're into grilling and smoking meats and also did portrait photography. Cool.

Hey there, I also came from the other site. I joined there in 2014/15 can't recall exactly. The last few months there was just too much drama and I couldn't be fucked with it anymore, so here I am too.
