I was very angry with all of the questioning when I 1st made my intro but I do understand why it happened. So any more questions? I'll be happy to oblige

What do you do for fun?

Play video games, watch movies, and relax. My job gets physically demanding so I enjoy relaxing and thinking about life. I bought a 94 camaro z28 a few months back and I was thinking about learning more about cars so I can turn it into a street beast with 500+ to the wheels. Anything more would be too much power I'm thinking?

The movies mentioned were framed as a question. The original post asked if you thought modern society was closer to Monty Python and the Holy Grail or if Monty Pytyhon's The Meaning of Life was more "accurate."

When it comes to female companionship, I'd go with Holy Grail. (When danger reared its ugly head, he bravely turned his tail and fled.)

You could shoot for a 400 HP Camaro. It would be lots cheaper, yet still fun. The trouble with big power is stock tires cant hook up and they just spin. At that point, your looking at modifying the shit out of your car. That means bigger inner fender wells, wide wheels, a narrowed rear end, and specialty tires. None of this comes cheap, and unless your a drag racer it's not really necessary. Does 500 horses get you into this territory? Am not sure, but you'd be close. Build a lesser motor with good midrange, and you'll like it just as much, while saving some serious coin.

That will be my 1st bet when I get around to it. i I can easily get 400 with the lt1 in it but the hold up is if I want to drop an ls in it or stay with the gen it came with. I was looking at better flowing lt1 heads and a new cam with full bolt ons and that should get it pretty close to 400 hp for pretty cheap. Thanks for your input sir, I appreciate it. On a side note it would be fun to throw 20k into it and put an 80k dollar car in the rearview mirror lol.

Thank you sir, I never got into Monty python movies so I was completely oblivious to the question asked. If I could compare society to a movie it would be the worst movie you ever could think of. I used to hope many years ago that it would change and become better but every advancement we take in technology the more it becomes hellish(i.e. Facebook and smartphones). Now, I just don't care.. as long as I live my life the way I want I'll be happy with noone telling me otherwise.

Re: Been lurking for awhile I guess it's time to come out of the shadows

Building a LT's not a bad idea, specially for a rookie. Having said that, an LS is better for a dozen reasons and it don't have to cost the earth. Trouble is, your changing everything, and the more you change, the longer it takes. DAMHIK.

You might consider putting a hundred horse nitrous system on what you got now. Then after driving it awhile you could better decide if building an LT or an LS would serve you better. That way you wouldn't waste much money on the LT if you decided to upgrade.

If you plan on keeping it, figure to drive it a lot and want the best car, the LS would be your huckleberry. If not that committed, building a LT would be easer, cheaper, and still have a big performance upgrade.

It seems like once you spend the money transplanting the ls into, then horsepower becomes a little cheaper. The only problem with the lt1 is it was only installed a couple years so aftermarket parts are few and far between. You could pull an engine out of a a truck and take the intake off to install an ls based motor into a car. The engine is cheap but changing the computer and all the lt based stuff out is pretty pricey.

She cheated on me so I repaid her by screwing her best friend. She was the start of my journey and the reason why I hated so much. I know this doesn't compare with divorce or child support but she did enough damage mentally to damage me. The last year I changed my whole attitude and deleted that cesspool of social media that was making me unhappy. I had to look in the mirror and become a better me, not the me everyone wanted me to be
I have been in your position and I promise you even worse. You did the right thing by being you and taking care of you first. People like to frown upon men that don't have kids and are not married/remarried. Live your life for you. I can't tell you how much better life is without flippy bitches. I actually wake up and look forward to the day. When I was dating or married, I was hoping to get hit by a bus. No more bitches trying to control or hurt me. I can pickup & go wherever I want when I want without it feeling like a police interrogation. People like to say single men are depressed, lonely, unhappy, etc. Far from it. There is always something to do and everyone has at least one friend they can call up and go to McDonalds with. Once you get the red pill through your system its fun to sit back & watch women destroy themselves and their temper tantrums.

It's my local number. The one thing that I'm the most proud of. It took me 5 years to accomplish the title I carry today, between school and work. It's probably too personal of a handle to carry, but not many people know what it is.

Yep, people always try to tell you the way you should be. Just recently I helped a buddy move and i seen all of these wives in their true forms. Lifesucking, ugly, and bitchy people. I don't go around people's wives very often because I won't "hook up" with their friends and I'm a bad influence on their husbands(lost many friends to marriage). The life they live and the life I live are totally different but I wouldn't ever want theirs.

Because they are the ones that are really unhappy. They try to dump all their problems on you and they are jealous. I CONSTANTLY get told I should have kids and get back to dating. They want me to suffer like them. Nothing against anyone that has kids but its not for me. Notice how everything is abuse nowadays? So if I discipline my kid for bad behavior then I am going to jail for child abuse? Fuck that. I have known men who were fathers not dads but fathers. They raised the kids while the bitch left. If the kid was sent to their room and their $500 video game system was taken off them then they went to school screaming abuse. Child protective services showed up and put the guys through hell. It's just not worth it.

I believe you. Nothing is ever good enough for wives. Trust me on that.

    Lifesucking, ugly, and bitchy people.
    Describes women perfectly.

You swallowed the red pill and can now see through their shit because you are no longer brainwashed because they have tits and pussy. Congratulations. You are not a "bad influence". What that really means is they don't want their husbands having anything and/or anyone that gives them joy without their permission. It's control. I have married friends and it pisses me off when they have to call their wife to check in and ask if they can stay out longer. What the flying hell? Yeah that bad.

The life they live and the life I live are totally different but I wouldn't ever want theirs.
Only an idiot would want to be depressed, controlled, manipulated, broke, hungry, and just live a downright miserable existence. But if they do then its called marriage!

Re: Been lurking for awhile I guess it's time to come out of the shadows

I really can't fathom the fact of someone needing to know what you're doing all day by calling. I live a pretty spurratic life and do whatever I want, whenever I want. Just a few weeks ago I booked a trip one day and left the next(told my boss and he was pretty irritated but I was looking for a job before I found this one) if you had a wife she would nag the hell out of you. My brother ran into the girl I mentioned early on and told her about my life, she was pretty shocked to say the least. She tried contacting me to be her atm again but her ass is blocked and I've ghosted online(No social media to speak of). As the saying goes "happy life no wife"
