    Late to the party

Hey, gents. Zardoz from the old forums, but not the famous Zardoz. Started using the name before I'd ever heard of him. I live in Canuckistan, if anyone cares. I'm more of a reader than a talker, so I usually only post when I have something to add that nobody else has brought up. Can't be bothered to "me too", but I'll read any of the threads that look interesting, and I appreciate the work you other gents do in bringing interesting stuff to my attention.

I'm on the lucky side. Never had the same drive to chase after women that some guys do, so I didn't get bit too hard by any of 'em. The usual school and office politics bullshit, but growing up with a sister, you learn real quick what women are like when they're at home. Realized young that I didn't want kids either, so I've been ghosting long before learning the term. Basic high-school relationships with the usual nonsense, but engineering at university took up too much time to bother with 'em (especially after the "you're guilty of whatever she says" talk the house Don gave us freshmen), and I just haven't been bothered since, especially after learning how the legal situation really works.

I really came into the MGTOW/MRA community after dealing with a bunch of "social justice warriors" overrunning some of my other online hang-outs. I'm pretty live-and-let-live, but when people start shitting all over me just for being born the "wrong" [sex/color/nationality/etc], that's it. Did some reading, found out that other people had had enough of this bullshit too. A few years later, and here I am.

Sounds like the Don gave you some solid advice. Welcome

    Re: Late to the party

Hey Zardoz, welcome. We have a bit of activism here in the Action sub-forum but it's for those who are so inclined. Glad you're here from MGTOW Forums. We're trying to carry the torch (and there are others) and build on the work that so many men did before us. I've been reading a post by Zed many years ago on the "recent" history of the manosphere back to the early 90s. It's truly fascinating and humbling. Were you an early member of MF?

Some of you may be wondering -- who is this Jagrmeister guy? Have a look at some of my posts from MGTOW Forums--> Jagr Archive (collection of my articles)

Stuff I do: Box, Surf, Tennis (3.5/4.0), Downhill skiing. I lift 4x a week and have for 10 years.
Stuff I like: Comedy shows, NBA, Reading Non-Fiction (sociology, philosophy, biographies).
Random facts: I admire Steve Jobs. Favorite travel spots (Russia, Central America).

    Re: Late to the party

Afraid not, I was late to the party in that sense too. I did my share of complaining through official channels back in university, but I quieted down after graduation (aside from warning off friends and acquaintances, without looking like "that single-issue dude"). Didn't get into the online side of things until a few years ago. Unless it's people shitting in my backyard (online or off), I'm more inclined to "just let it burn" these days, but I'll happily hand out red pills to anyone who looks like they could use one.
