    Hey-o

Thanks to those members who have pointed out the new member intro requirement.

In all my relationships, I've been insistent that my girlfriends be as self-sufficient as I am. I take care of myself, and I DIY as much as possible because, first off, I can, but secondly because financial independence / early retirement is a major goal of mine.

I started taking an interest in MGTOW as, after going through multiple girlfriends, I started to see a pattern of women who don't want to lift a finger to improve their lives. They may talk the talk ("Oh yeah, I'll learn how to do my next oil change," or "Oh I should purchase a bike for city commuting instead of sitting in traffic in my expensive car," or "I really need to get in shape."), but inevitably they give up after a month or two of effort, if they even try.

A few have even shown some follow-through, joining me at the gym and progressing through StrongLifts 5x5, but even with them I can tell they are just doing it to please me and because of my encouragement, and would fall off if I stopped being their 'cheerleader,' which ultimately makes them unattractive to me.

My most recent relationship was a disastrous attempt at polyamory when a close friend's wife fell in love with me. Because they were both okay with it, I decided to give it a try, but ultimately discovered she was a bitter, nasty woman and breaking it off with her brought out even more ugliness and has (big surprise) come between the friendship I had with my guy friend in the process.

As far as my interests, I enjoy cycle commuting, traveling, P4P, and software development (also my career).

I stumbled across this forum while lurking the /r/MGTOW subreddit.

Am not sure if intro's are considered as important as they used to be. Still, a lot of us like to see them. You'd be surprised how many trolls wont go there. So thanks for giving it a go.

    You a younger guy?

This used to be somewhat of an old guys site. But a lot of them drifted off, and my guess is the average age is now somewhat younger. I'm the geezer of the bunch, maybe not the oldest but pretty close. When I was your age I spent most of the summer on the road, and was outside so much I could tell time to within ten minutes by looking at the sun. Boy was that a long time ago. Last time I could afford to quit and go riding too.

Our friend here said something dumb on one thread, and got called for it. But his heart seems to be in the right place. Last I heard, mods have the final say who get in. My guess is your probably ok, though I been wrong before.

The Riddlers intro is bare minimum.

Usually we prefer intro's that are more detailed.
Could you give us some examples of female behaviour that you found manipulative? Could you tell us in more detail how you became MGTOW?

    Thanks!

Really just trying to pursue FI/RE without letting my dick get me into a relationship. I'm okay with pump & dump or P4P to allow for some sexual relief, basically, and otherwise just want to keep pursuing my own hobbies.

Essays have never been my strong suit; more of a math & programming type. Sorry if I lacked detail. I alluded to it in the OP but the general hypocrisy and laziness led to me being exhausted with the antics of women.

Particularly, expecting me to know how to fix everything while they don't attempt to DIY anything themselves.

Or, in the case of my most recent relationship, the girl was insanely jealous and possessive of me, despite her getting her husband to allow her to have sex with me. Reading /r/MGTOW allowed me to see her through a lense of how toxic she really was, and gave me the motivation to end things with her.

You lurkers are probably wondering why we're giving our rookie a hard time. For whatever reason bat shit crazy women try to join up now and then. One thing they don't seem able to do is write an intro that sounds like a man did it.

Beyond that, we want you to join for the right reasons. If pumping some cause of your own is what you want, you won't last long. No ones looking for yes men either, say what you think. But remember this, Jag don't pay the bills to watch us go after each other. You want to say I'm wrong and back it up, fine. But calling me names will get you banned real quick. As some members found out the hard way.

I'm ok with it, though it means like rock stars, race car drivers, and war hero's, some of our best are dead. I still miss Ace, though we'd a never got a new member the way he went after rookies.

They're still important (eventually). We're just slow. I'm working a lot more lately and it's monopolizing more of my time than in the past.

I'm happy with this intro so far, but I think I would like to hear a little more about your interactions with manipulative women.

Tell us a story that illustrates the epiphany that brought you onto this path; an interaction with Lil' Miss Entitled Cupcake.

    Re: Hey-o

Well, I feel as if I'm just repeating myself, but some instances that come to mind in the most recent relationship I mentioned:

    - She was sharing me with her husband, yet even the merest mention of either him or I being interested in another girl brought on an emotional tantrum on her part.

    - The last straw was: in October-ish, she cancelled some plans we had for a festival on a weekend in November so that she could take a class. She did this without consulting anybody. So I made plans to go visit a friend of mine. She threw a tantrum, because how dare I make plans on my own (despite her turning our other plans upside-down for her own benefit).

    - After the break-up, she convinced herself she was pregnant for about a month, despite all blood tests and her own OBGYN's advice indicating no. When that didn't work, she ruined my potential for remaining friends with her husband / my friend by getting upset whenever he would talk to me (despite, on the day of the break-up, constantly sobbing "I'm such a bad person, I ruined your friendship")

Do you have any favorite movies or books? Have you watched any MGTOW videos on YouTube?
    9mm or .45?
