I always do something special for the love of my life (me) on Feb. 14th. Usually it's a steak and baked potato dinner. I'll try to make it even more special this year in honor of MGTOW.

We should try to wear something yellow on MGTOW day. That would be weird of all of sudden men wearing yellow in big numbers and people would obviously notice. lol
Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless- like water.
Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup,
you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle,
you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot.
Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

In the Netherlands at least in the south of the country, valentines happens simultaneously with Carnaval, or, Mardi Grass as they call it in New Orleans, anyway, an entire week of loose harlots in cop outfits and cleaning maid uniforms.

With a (censored) in my wallet i'll be prowling for a harlot in slut-gear.

Feb 14'th is always a good time of the year for me, and since i do well with women i never go home alone.

Might go to my favourite bar and try a few from the beer list that I haven't gotten around to yet.

Skiing, camping, shooting guns, drinking beer in front of a big ass fire (this is Colorado, you can do all of that on the same day here) and most importantly with no women around!

Whatever you do, don't spend money on cupcake.

And if you do have a female, hhkcalgary offers some advice for getting rid of her and making it seem like her idea on this special day!

Even better, he offers some good pickup advice for that day. Hit a club up that evening and find the desperate woman with the broken self-esteem because she had no man to take her out. Gonna try that myself and see if it works. [/evilgrin]

Hope you're all enjoying MGTOW Day. Today I am grateful for finding a way of life & philosophy that fits the ways I've thought about life for a while. The pieces of the puzzle were always there but MGTOW has helped me understand how they all fit. The peace of mind that's followed is immeasurable. For me, I could never feel free so long as I had the ballast of considering whether or not I was "keeping up" with social expectations. Now it's just open road.

Re: Celebrate MGTOW Day - February 14!

Just checkin' in to say I'm having a MGTOW great day! I accomplished a fair bit - ran some errands I had been putting off, did one of those "twice a year" size grocery shopping trips to get a lot of the non-perishables as cheaply as possible. Installed a new lock on my front door which will make running AirB&B easier (permits remote entry, logs all comings and goings). Solved a seriously complex problem of expanding the size of a hole in the door (it's harder than you'd think to do it evenly). Now I'm listening to old music I made in the past, going to do a workout, shower, then crack four craft beers open. Decided not to go out and pick up a broad as I mentioned in my post above - I'd really rather chill at home after a busy day in retrospect.

Speaking of which Jagr - isn't this getting close to this forum's birthday? Anything planned?

I'm basically doing the same thing, I considered going out and picking up some chick with low self esteem at some bar or pub then I thought....that's too much work and I cleaned my house and packed and did a lot of shit today in preparation for my move in the next 10 days. I'm going to stay home drink vodka, watch the triple header hockey games in HD for Free with my OTA antenna in pure uncompressed HD.

My Chicken breasts and cheese sauce, green peppers, onion, Sriracha and diced tomatoes is in the slow cooker, I have a cigar for later, and ill likely hit up some NBA2k15 on ps4 later. Seems like a good night to me, no 50 shades of lame, no vagina day gifts to give, no nagging, no dragging (To anywhere) no broads no bullshit.

Funny, in my 20's I felt like If I wasant going out every chance I got I'd be missing out on something, maybe my chance to find a solid "Soul mate" or just a quick lay which was fine, often found the latter, but was always looking for the former, never did, likely never will, and I have really stopped looking, and have noticed that walking by all chicks I pretty much ignore them completely, not as a tactic but as a course of day to day normalcy.

Met my landlord today for the move out inspection, dude told me he may move back in here because he had to sell the house and moved into a basement suite, the "Wife" and kid are at some other place I guess. That marriage lasted less time than my tenancy or close, 27 months, super nice guy of course. I have no sympathy anymore for blue pillers, they have the internet, and ears, they can see and hear the stories day after day, if they aren't smart enough to see the patterns that I and you guys see, and experience, and continue to repeat the same behaviors...well it's on them...fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, fool me 3 times, I'm a fucking idiot.

    Happy MGTOW DAY!

Re: Celebrate MGTOW Day - February 14!

Been sick in the past week, didn't lift at the gym and didn't go two days at the uni because this virus I've picked up really messed me up, particularly my sleep schedule where even when I am tired I fall asleep I sleep 2-4 hours but wake up countless times in the process. Things at least got better since my mum dropped some Strepsils pills yesterday
Haven't done anything special today, I'm down to under $2 until hopefully the end of next week. I hooked up the TV to a 3m HDMI cable I bought last Tuesday and done absolutely nothing.
I really have to get my work schedule sorted, I don't have any homework but I got a project due until 28th and an essay due 26th this month, and I need best grades to pay less next semester.

So - imagine using a hole saw to cut a larger hole.

    9210477.jpg

You can't use one of these because it's going to jump around - there's nothing to centre it. The drill bit in the centre needs solid wood to act as a "pilot hole". So I had to make a "pilot circle" with a dremel. That was done by hand. Not easy. But once it was about an eighth of an inch deep, I was able to use the hole saw...

I visited a friend who called off a date yesterday. The girl was upset; we were happy.

Re: Celebrate MGTOW Day - February 14!

I said in the other Feb 14 thread that I would probably buy a video game but it wasn't enough. You see, I haven't got a next-gen console so I went out and bought a PS4 with the Evolve game bundle.

My parents are quite controlling about these things and they were pretty pissed but, it was the first international mgtow day, so I couldn't resist. Plus I've been getting a little more hours at my office (one of the line managers is noticing my hard work), so I thought 'why not?'

I know its a little late but Happy International MGTOW Day fella's.
