    "Futurist" misses the mark

    Not the Futurist, that some of you may be acquainted with, I hasten to add. Let's look through the MGTOW lens at this investment industry fluff piece;

    the pace of change is accelerating”. That was largely because the connectedness had increased “the power of collective genius unlocked from around the world”.
    He saw this largely in optimistic terms. At a rarefied level, people were “connecting and doing extraordinary things, whether inventing new cures for cancer or doing things with nanotechnology”.
    Standard "globalisation is all good - give me your money to invest" spiel. Check!

    Despite his overall optimism, Professor Goldin was anxious about demographic trends. Much of the world had seen a “collapse in fertility”, he worried. “One of the big surprises for me is how rapidly this has occurred. Over half the countries in the world are already below replacement level”
    Yes, well spotted "professor"!

    The “downward spiral in fertility in many societies” was partly caused by decisions to choose sons rather than daughters. In many developing countries, female embryos are far
    more likely to be aborted than male ones
    And then I died laughing! Firstly, the fertility decline is most pronounced in developed economies (the US being possibly the sole, semi-exception). These are not the countries that are known for aborting females, in fact, females outnumber males.

    Secondly, he says "partly", but then doesn't mention any other reasons - I wonder what they could be eh?

    I thank MGTOW for being able to see through the bullshit. I got some entertainment from this "article" thanks to that.
    I work in financial planning. I am interested in metal (all kinds), miniature painting and PC gaming. I live in Scotland.

    Another shameless opportunist "professor",
    pandering to the fempire power structure for
    monetary gains.

    H.G. Wells was ahead of his time with a great imagination but also an observer of human nature.

    Cause and Effect is lost in modern society. The very fact that every action has an opposite an equal reaction suggests that the push of Pro Female/Pro Left agendas at the cost of everything else will usher in the opposite extreme ideology.

    The future belongs to the society with the most masculine males.
