How well did being a pick up artist work for you

It was frustrating at times but I made it.

It got me two marriages, two divorces, and lots of black and blue marks on my ass from kicking myself afterwards.

    Well called Uly.

Women are a complete drain on you and an absolute liability to you. PUA's showing off about their ability to attract and get women is akin to showing off about how easily you can be duped into paying for someone else's meals and entertainment.

Great...you paid $150 and you banged a 2. Then you get to tell your mates she was a 9 and allow yourself to believe it.

As for using conventional PUA dogma, it failed miserably for me back in my desperate blue pill days. I did have a spell where I did nothing but be myself and occasionally would get laid by cute, easy women half my age for free. I found it to be just as shallow as the women. It's what finally led me to MGTOW.

It doesn't work and it won't work. Being fake and shallow are transparent cloths. Just like the fable. People see right through them. Try being confident and in charge of yourself. Then just sit back and do your own thing; the woman will come to you. Never chase - it's weak and needy.

Tried it, and realized something. You really have to want to be a PUA. I remember buying Ross Jeffries (poorly produced-lots of background noise) tapes in the late 90s.

Re: How well did being a pick up artist work for you

I have no sympathy for PUA's I distance myself firmly form the "pussy under attack community". These guys are as broken as all the women we bitch about. We have received some heavy flak from PUA's and it just makes me smile. Remember always these guys are running a business and they need to sell their crap to gullible blue pill men in order to make profit. MGTOW will never be their customers they can't sell us shit that's why they hate us so much. I have no respect for Roosh nor Corey Savage nor for any of them. A man who can't control his animal instincts is a man I can never trust. MGTOW is a special breed of men . . . I'm not saying we are better but we are different.

Women will never be able to understand MGTOW so don't waste your time trying to mainsplain. Modern women are too much cuntfused to get the real point of MGTOW. It's like we men will never understand what it means to be pregnant it's simply not going to happen. So safe your breath because it is futile trying to explain, the only result you gonna achieve is their hamster is going to warp spin that wheel into Hyperspace.

BTW the banned guy who made the OT was in my opinion a she. Very few posts, witten in a too strange manner for it to be written by a man. We give them always enough rope and they pomptly hang themselves guaranteed.

Sandman had a podcast not too long ago regarding fake MGTOWs. It seems that PUAs are trying to reinvent themselves as MGTOWs. Paul Elam is/was an MRA that tried to get into the MGTOW pool as well.

Well I was blessed with being incredibly handsome when younger but attitude, confidence and getting them laughing until they were dripping got me what I wanted.

Reframing it so that they were chasing me always worked, playing bad cop good cop with them works, telling them off etc.

It all just came naturally to me really.

Agree. At some point, one has to ask himself, where does the line blur between being a PUA and simply being a blue piller?
And I can anticipate already the comments. 'He's bitter because he's old', 'His MV has gone down', 'Nobody's interested', whatever. I actually practiced ghosting before I even knew I was, and prior to the mistake of marrying. (early 80's). MGTOW wasn't even a phrase, or a thing spoken about, although it has been here for centuries. Truth told, when my T glands were raging stronger than D-Day, I stayed away from women. I then lost my way, and what I believed in 1984. I tried something 'different'. Twice. Done now, & educated myself. I'm still upright, & I don't know how, but every so often, a woman comes along. Just don't do it.
Brothers, don't lose YOUR way, is a moment of pleasure worth your value? Be as strong to yourself, as they are, when they unrelentingly stalk and pursue you.
(To come to grips with the question, I was never, or at least I didn't think I ever was, slick enuf, to be a pick up artist) I've seen the damage it has caused my bro's around me thru the years. And that's not sour grapes my friends, all truth.

It would make more sense to reinvent pua to turn women after their crazy harpy sisters. Unlike getting women to have sex, that at least would be a challenge, and it would be immensely amusing. I like to set myself challenges like that, just to see if I can.

I agree that is PUA is a myth and its just a desperate man. I am so sorry that I even spent time (let alone money) on a woman. It was nothing but disaster. She always took advantage of me and made a fool out of me. No matter how much money I wasted, I always got the old "Im not attracted to you" but when tattooed bad boy Chad came along,he was banging her like a screen door in a thunderstorm. I was expected to be the beta provider while getting heart break in return. Fuck that.

Never had to be the pickup artist the majority of the time, but those few times I tried were truly laughable. I sucked with a big Hoover Vacuum cleaner trying to pick them up.
